While Crocs continues to drop headline-worthy collabs such as the recently surfaced Duolingo Classic Clog, its creativity and innovative spirit are not to be forgotten even as a standalone name. Despite comfort and breathability being the fundamental philosophies of Crocs’ offerings, the freshly debuted Bubble Crush Clog demonstrates a cooler eccentric edge.
Proudly showing off an exaggerated rubber pod outsole, the Bubble Crush Clog boasts a 69mm stacked height that will surely capture the hearts of those who live by platform soles. Swirling and textured detailing graces the sole, adding a stylish and expressive touch that elevates the design from regular platform clogs. A total of five colorways are offered, ranging from psychedelic “Sesame,” bold yet understated “Black/Gum,” panda-like “White” to Barbie-core-ready “Pink Crush” and sleek “Triple Black.”
Alexander Mayhew, a footwear designer at HOKA recently posted on his Instagram the first on-feet look for the Bubble Crush Clog in “White.” As a former employee at Crocs, Mayhew also shed light on the shoe’s design “warped DNA” inspiration in his IG caption.
