Debuted at this year’s Paris Fashion Week, Courrèges unveils its latest Spring/Summer 2025 pre-collection drawing from an extensive pool of references.

Conceptualized during the longest winter in decades, “Dreaming the sunshine beyond the clouds” is the ethos behind this season’s range. Incorporating the essence of summer escapism with sleek outerwear sheltering the body from unpredictable weather conditions, this is Nicolas Di Felice’s renewal of the Parisian label’s wardrobe staples.

Minimalist, calm sensuality themes first seen in its FW24 collection return through lightweight iterations of its upside-down deconstructed pieces as well as the “Magic Square” mesh tops highlighted in both its men’s and women’s looks. Elevating last season’s shapes and compositions, luxury satin, durable workwear canvas, and raw indigo denim appear across the collection.

Delving into the brand’s rich archives, details like asymmetric button tabs pay homage to André Courrèges’ SS70 collection while exaggerated shoulders and bold silhouettes revive ‘70s aesthetics. The stand-out accessory includes the brand’s signature Friday Bowling bag boasting a new and improved elongated volume for everyday wear.

Defining features of this season’s range, however, are Di Felice’s interpretations of the classic summer look. Bringing athletic inspirations to the daywear offering, finishings like layered waistbands and oversized belt loops mimic climbing harnesses while selected styles are adorned in abstract graphics reminiscent of hiking signage. Exploring the beauty of playing with juxtapositions freely, watersport-inspired pieces are also adapted for city getaways like its biker jacket reimagined in scuba jersey fabrications, in contrast, the slip-on footwear takes cues from diving shoes and arrives in Nappa leather.
