Polestar has expanded its Polestar 3 line-up with the addition of a rear-wheel drive Long-range Single motor variant. Priced from $85,000 USD, this new model is now available to order in Europe, with North America and Australia following later in 2024.

The Polestar 3 Long range Single motor offers up to 400 miles of range, using the same 111 kWh battery pack as its dual-motor counterpart. Notably, the vehicle retains Polestar’s luxury features, advanced technology and dynamic driving experience — with the new configuration in alignment with the brand’s performance-focused ethos, according to CEO Thomas Ingenlath.

Built in China and the USA, the rear-wheel drive Polestar 3 boasts 220 kW and 360 lb-ft of torque, achieving 0-60 mph in 7.8 seconds. It features a sophisticated passive damper system and Brembo braking system, designed for added comfort and control.

Customers can personalize their vehicles with options like six exterior colors, five interior designs and four-wheel choices. The new Pro Pack offers a 21-inch alloy wheel option. Additionally, the Pilot Pack with LiDAR from Luminar is available, enhancing safety and convenience. Interested customers in the UK can explore the configurator or place an order now via Polestar’s official site.
