Even before the term was coined, Nike ACG has been a pioneer in the now crowded gorpcore space, by spearheading innovative apparel and footwear since the 1980s. As one of its most popular trail shoes, the Exploraid was recently resurrected this year in an “Ash Green” and “Light Orewood Brown” colorway that offered a new take on a storied classic.

The Swoosh is adding to the Exploraid arsenal by teasing a “Jade Horizon” iteration that is set to release later this fall. Staying true to the original, the shoe features a neoprene bootie that is complemented by sage green and dark stucco accents throughout the base. Additional highlights include retro ACG branding at the heel counter and tongue, as well as an aggressive outsole for extra traction on various outdoor surfaces.

Whether for the streets or for the trails, the Nike ACG Exploraid is primed to get optimal use in sneaker rotations when the shoe drops in fall 2024 for $140 USD on Nike and select retailers.
