New Balance has announced the release of its latest WRPD Runner, featuring a bold snakeskin design set to debut this fall. This new iteration of the WRPD Runner showcases the brand’s creativity, departing from traditional materials to embrace a more animalistic aesthetic.

The WRPD Runner “Snakeskin” edition stands out with its unique graphic suede overlays, mimicking a snakeskin pattern. Unlike typical snakeskin leather, this design is integrated by using graphic suede, adding a distinctive texture to the shoe. The mineral and midnight tones of the shoe are complemented by steely gray “N” branding and a solid black underfoot base. The shoe’s overall design is completed with cream mesh and an aged midsole, like those featured on the Sea Salt and Grey Matter pairs.

While an exact release date has not yet been shared at the time of writing, the Snakeskin WRPD Runner is expected to release via official New Balance channels in the Fall, with retail likely to be $150 USD.
