Longines Unveils the Pilot Majetek Pioneer Edition
A limited production of 1,937 pieces.
The latest unveiling at Longines sees a refreshed Pilot Majetek timepiece in a special Pioneer Edition. Returning in a dark gray and black colorway, the new reference is offered as a limited edition of 1,935 examples — a number that references the year Longines registered the model with the International Bureau of Industrial Property in Switzerland.
Just like its predecessor, the Pioneer Edition comes at a 43mm case diameter that encapsulates the spirit, as well as the proportions of the pilot model. Clad in titanium with a cushion-shaped case, the watch is paired with a fluted bi-directional rotating bezel and a screw-in crown. The dial comes in matte black with Arabic numerals and lume-filled hands come in a gray PVD. In place of the numeral 6, a small seconds display is integrated instead.
Inside, the time-teller runs on the COSC-certified L893.6 caliber, offering up to 72 hours of power reserve. This modern variant is also fitted with a fixed sapphire crystal that contributed to its incorporated water resistance of 10 ATM.
Completing the timepiece is paired with a woven synthetic strap in black. Priced at $5,000 USD, the Pilot Majetek Pioneer Edition is now available to shop via Longine’s official website.
