A new BAPE Chusen collection has arrived, a capsule of light summertime staples in the brand’s distinct pattern.

Ahead of the summer, the brand’s latest drop consists of lightweight button-downs, shorts, T-shirts and bucket hats. Arriving in two colorways, the pieces are offered in a blue and brown camo or a black and white.

Each button-down features a subtle cord at the bottom of the shirt for adjusting fit, along with two zippered pockets. On the right side of the chest is a small BAPE logo. The shorts are also made to be adjusted, featuring a built-in belt. The matching hats and T-shirts round out the lineup for a simple summertime outfit.

Chusen is a Japanese dying technique that originated around 150 years ago. While the garments may look as if they’ve been tie-dyed, Chusen uses a special setup where dye is poured on the fabric from the top and bleeds down, creating a blur effect. BAPE says that there are only a few machines in Japan capable of the process.

BAPE’S new Chusen collection will launch online and in stores on Saturday, June 22.
