Lemaire consistently brings everyday elegance to reality, this time taking a more sensual direction for its Spring/Summer 2025 collection.

Presenting the latest collection at the brand’s headquarter in Le Marais neighborhood in Paris, the collection opened with a series of dark and rich palettes, focusing on black, dark plum, asphalt and dark chocolate hues to highlight voluminous shapes. Design duo Christophe Lemaire and Sarah-Linh Tran are continually inspired by cinematic characters. When designing their collection, they were very clear on their vision, creating fashion from eclectic and unique characters. From the pieces to even the detail of the model’s own personality, Christophe and Sarah-Linh are particular in how their clothes are presented, and rightfully so. Constantly learning from their consumers and fans and diving deep into why Lemaire is a brand of choice for them, the designers take their learnings to create the seasonal classics the fashion community sees, collection after collection.

In a backstage interview with press, Sarah-Linh pinpointed that this season they wanted to focus on “more straightforward silhouettes and things that you can refer to instantaneously.” Taking inspiration from everyday life, including orthopaedic beaded seat covers often used by taxi drivers globally, to derive subtle details and accessories, this season was all about wearability. Shape was a major aspect for the collection, which Sarah-Linh pointed out when discussing the cuffed ankles to create the “balloon-pant” effect. Parachuting volumes complement the second-skin layers and workwear tailoring on denim and twill pieces. The boxy, relaxed fit continues in full force giving a leaner silhouette. Adding a splash of sun-faded pastels to their collection, Lemaire enters a sensual direction for SS25.
