Umbro Celebrates Its 100th Anniversary With New Aries Collaboration

Celebrating its 100th anniversary, British sporting label Umbro has reunited with Aries for a third collaboration of football-inspired garments.

Inspired by the century-old brand’s deep football archive, the eight-piece collection merges Aries’ luxury streetwear aesthetic with Umbro’s classic sportswear across a slew of red, white and blue silhouettes. The lineup houses two signature short-sleeve football jerseys, a long-sleeve goalkeeper jersey, football shorts and kit accessories, along with a limited-edition navy lace “centenary” football jersey, which is exclusive to Aries with just 100 units.

The archival “Aries A-Rose” motif appears on a rose-printed backdrop across each traditional jersey, offering an ode to the “English Rose.” The signature silhouettes, which come in both red and white colorways, boast “Aries Temple” branding on the left of the chest and Umbro’s “Double Diamond” on the right. The goalkeeper iteration, meanwhile, features a purple-black design with a mythical lion illustration alongside the Latin motto: “If you kill it, it will come back stronger.”

All jerseys are decorated with a “centenary” graphic on their backs. In the same collaborative font from the duo’s previous collaborations, the motif finds the number “100” shaped after Umbro’s “double diamond” iconography.

The Aries x Umbro collection is now available to shop online and in Aries’ London flagship. Prices range from $27 USD to $215 USD. Explore the lineup in the gallery above.
