Anderson .Paak Is Touring His 2016 LP ‘Malibu’ This Fall
Hitting 14 cities across the US.
Anderson .Paak has released four solo albums to date, along with a handful of collaborative joints, but 2016’s Malibu was the record that largely marked his commercial breakthrough.
The album’s release arrived about six months after .Paak made several appearances throughout Dr. Dre’s Compton LP. When Malibu dropped, the project was regarded as something of a masterpiece and even earned a Grammy nomination for Best Urban Contemporary Album.
This fall, .Paak will revisit the landmark album on a 14-date US tour. Kicking off on September 19 at Hayden Homes Amphitheater in Bend, Oregon, .Paak will hit major venues across the country, including Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl, Boulder’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre and the Fontainebleau Las Vegas.
Each show will see .Paak perform Malibu in full, offering fans who missed his original tour for the album a chance to experience it – or for diehard fans the opportunity to hear the record live a second time. .Paak will also be joined by special guests Maurice Brown and GAWD.
