Tekla Heads to the Seaside of Marseille for Beachy Summer Collection
Bringing its elevated sleepwear to France’s coast.
Tekla is largely known for its cozy bedding and blankets but the Copenhagen brand is shedding its layers ahead of the summer months. The fabrics purveyor has unveiled its beachy summer collection, spanning sleepwear, everyday apparel and towels.
With a scenic lookbook photographed on a beach in Marseille, the collection builds upon Tekla’s go-to striped design aesthetic. Minimalist, light and airy, the collection led with a lineup of sleepwear staples, including poplin button-down shirts, shorts and nightgowns. While branded “sleepwear,” all of the garments are versatile and elevated enough to wear either walking along the beach or to go to bed.
A coastal color palette mainly rotates through pale pink, white and a soft blue, along with a lone dark navy blue that appears in a nightgown.
Accompanying the apparel is a trio of beach bags, as well as terry cloth beach towels bearing the brand’s name.
Tekla’s summer collection is available to purchase on the brand’s website now. Sleepwear starts at $336 USD (£265 GBP), towels at $146 USD (£115 GBP) and bags at $279 USD (£220 GBP). The brand also plans to release boxers in the near future.
