The Nike Air Foamposite One in “International Blue” is slated to return later this year. Originally designed by Eric Avar in 1997, the shoe was prominent hit in the late ’90s when Nike introduced the Foamposite material. Penny Hardaway popularized the silhouette when he wore it on the court, causing a craze amongst fans. Now, in 2024, the “International Blue” colorway is making a comeback. The shoe comes after the return announcements of “Metallic Copper” and “Eggplant”.

The information comes according to Sneaker Files and zsneakerheadz which have shared the mockups you see above. So far, no official image has been released just yet. According to the mock-ups the upper features an accented international blue and black color scheme. The black accents the eyestays, laces and mesh tongue to contrast the vibrant blue upper. The Swoosh is on the toe while the Penny Hardaway logo is seen on the tongue and heel. It appears to sit on a semi-translucent outsole and black carbon fiber shank.

Look out for the Nike Air Foamposite One “International Blue” when it releases in Fall 2024 for $240 USD at select retailers and online at Nike.
