Lamborghini‘s legacy was on full display at the 2024 Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, with four historic models captivating the audience. Notably, despite being finished in an understated Titanium Silver, the 1999 Diablo GT stood out against a backdrop of vibrant cars at the prestigious competition.

As one of only eighty ever produced, the Diablo GT stands out for its performance and unique design, earning the “BMW Group Ragazzi” trophy, awarded by the under-16 audience at Villa Erba. This specific model, number six of its limited series, retains its original Titanium Silver exterior over an Alcantara Blue interior with exposed carbon fiber accents. Known for its top speed of 215 mph, it was the fastest production car at the time of its release. The car is currently under evaluation by Polo Storico Lamborghini for its Certification of Authenticity, underscoring its historical significance.

In addition to the Diablo GT, Lamborghini showcased three other iconic models: the 1967 Miura P400, the 1976 Countach LP 400 and the Countach 25th Anniversary edition. Each vehicle, revered for its engineering and design, highlighted Lamborghini’s enduring influence in the automotive world. The Countach LP 400, in particular, won the “il Canto del Motore” trophy for its exceptional V12 engine sound.

Alessandro Farmeschi, Lamborghini’s After Sales Director, emphasized the growing appreciation for Lamborghini’s classic cars and the importance of the Certification of Authenticity, stating “The work done by our specialists is gaining increasing appreciation among collectors.”

The Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, established in 1929, remains a premier event for classic car enthusiasts, with Lamborghini’s participation this year further cementing its reputation as a creator of timeless automotive masterpieces.
