Chance the Rapper Taps DJ Premier on "Together"
The latest from the rapper’s recent stream of singles.
Chance the Rapper continues to roll out his long-awaited Star Line Gallery project, quietly dropping off a slate of singles – most of which are not yet available on streaming platforms. The latest in The Rapper’s lineup is “Together” – a collaborative offering with DJ Premier.
With additional production by Peter Cottontale and supplemental vocals by Rachel Robinson and Jack Red, “Together” hears Chance reflect and reminisce on his childhood and career trajectory.
“If you keep the house in the family you could keep the family in the house / If you on the run, you got family in the South” he opens.
The track comes equipped with a nostalgic music video that compiles old footage of Chance’s adolescence and provides the classically sharp and smart Chance lyrics listed on the bottom of the screen.
Chance debuted the new track on The Voice last night, delivering the track from atop a rooftop.

“Together” joins other presumed Star Line Gallery cuts “I Will Be Your (Black Star Line Freestyle)” and “Buried Alive.”
At the time of writing, the cut is solely available to stream on YouTube and has not yet made its way over to any streaming platforms quite yet. Check it out in the gallery above.
