HBO Debuts ‘House of the Dragon’ Season 2 Official Trailer
Premiering on Sunday, June 16
The battle for the throne is soon to return. HBO has finally revealed the official trailer for season 2 of House of the Dragon.
“The Targaryen who sits the Iron Throne, is not just a king or a queen. They are a protector of the realm,” says Rhaenyra Targaryen at the trailer’s opening. With the forthcoming season, the dramatic story continues as the trailer reveals a forthcoming civil war between the Targaryns and the Hightowers. “F*ck dignity,” says King Aegon Targaryen. “I want revenge.”
About the new season, Ryan Condal said, “Now we get to fall into the more traditional rhythms of storytelling and Game of Thrones…This series is very much about a house tearing itself apart from within. Now that all those pieces have been set on the board, I’m really excited to tell the next chapter, to see what happens now that Viserys is gone and no longer keeping a lid on things.”
