Tesla has unveiled its latest vehicle, the Model 3 Performance, featuring notable upgrades in power, technology and design.

The revamped Model 3 Performance is equipped with Tesla’s most potent Performance drive unit to date, offering 510 hp. This power boost allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 2.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 163 mph, making it one of the fastest in its class.

In terms of handling, the Model 3 Performance introduces an all-new adaptive damping system that enhances road grip. This feature ensures maximum control and comfort while navigating corners at any speed. Additionally, the vehicle includes a Track Mode, which allows drivers to fine-tune the suspension, chassis and powertrain controls for an optimized driving experience on race tracks.

Aesthetically, the car boasts advanced aerodynamics with redesigned fascias, a rear diffuser and a carbon fiber spoiler, all contributing to reduced drag and improved high-speed stability. The interior doesn’t skimp on luxury either, featuring ventilated sport seats with enhanced bolstering, exclusive carbon fiber decor and a studio-quality sound system with 17 speakers.

The new Model 3 Performance also comes equipped with lightweight 20” Warp Wheels and upgraded performance brakes, enhancing the car’s agility and stopping power. Other notable factors include its dual motor all-wheel drive configuration and a long-range battery that offers an estimated 296 miles per charge.

This latest vehicle from Tesla is available to shop and configure now via the automaker’s official site, with pricing starting at just over $40,000 USD after tax credits and gas savings according to the brand.
