New York City’s “unofficial talent scout” New York Nico has announced his debut book is on the way. Entitled New York Nico’s Guide to NYC, the first-ever print offering from the local legend chronicles his favorite hotspots – and of course, personalities – throughout the city.

“I’ve been working on this project for the past 2+ years, interviewing and photographing some of my favorite people in NYC with the mission of creating a comprehensive list of 100 of my favorite local businesses,” he wrote in an Instagram caption.

The “locals-only” guide includes restaurants of all calibers, vintage stores, bookstores, coffee shops and hole-in-the-wall neighborhood spots.

Per Harper Collins’ website, the hardcover book is a “photo-packed celebration of the greatest city in the world, showcasing Nico’s top 100 New York institutions, shops, and eateries and the characters who shape them.”

Some of those characters include Henry at Army Navy Bags, Yuval at Liebman’s Deli, Julia who serves Sri Lankan food to riders of the Staten Island Ferry and Jamal at Village Revival Records.

Preorder New York Nico’s Guide to NYC for $29 USD at Harper Collins’ official webstore.
