Frank Carson’s Leisure Centre is the Lower East Side’s one-stop-shop for vintage gems. Known for its eclectic collection of merchandise — on any trip to the Leisure Centre storefront, you’ll find anything from a Beastie Boys tee to a ‘60s ringer shirt assigned to a West Point cadet — as well as its in-house remakes of vintage items like D.J. Screw-inspired snapbacks, Leisure Centre shuns mass-market vintage in favor of offerings that, while not esoteric, convey a level of knowledge, taste and interest in cultural history, all without an air of pretentiousness.

I’m very inspired by old signs. There’s always something interesting when you look upwards.

What other vendors are you looking forward to checking out at Hypebeast Flea?
As a furniture admirer, I’m very much looking forward to seeing what Lichen and Pink Essay have in store. Also, I really want to meet PHILLLLLTHY.
