GOD SELECTION XXX x BAPE Reveal New Graphics
Led by six co-branded t-shirts.
GOD SELECTION XXX is reworking some of BAPE‘s classic graphics. In the pair’s new collaborative collection, the “f xxx ing ART” outfitter put its own spin on some of the streetwear imprint’s storied motifs including the BAPE BEE, BABY MILO and APE HEAD among others.
Each of the graphics is rearranged to stamp GOD SELECTION’s “XXX” over the eyes of the featured character. Tees arrive in black and white colorways and see new takes on six of BAPE’s signature designs.
Elsewhere, the duo serves up a new take on BAPE’s snowboard jacket and shark zip-up. Both pieces arrive in BAPE’s camo print, with the jacket reading “A BATHING APE XXX” down the center.
Rounding out the extensive foray is a striking delivery of home goods spanning wall clocks, cushions and rugs. A BAPE BEE keychain and BABY MILO figurine are also included; BABY MILO is reimagined with an XXX over his eyes.
Take a closer look at the range in the gallery above, and expect the GOD SELECTION XXX x BAPE collection to land for purchase on Sunday, April 28 at both GOD SELECTION XXX and BAPE webstores. The “GENERAL” and “BEETHOVEN” tees, however, are a GOD SELECTION XXX exclusive. The rugs and cushions are slated to drop sometime in June.
