As the week in music comes to a close, Hypebeast has rounded up the best projects for the latest installment of Best New Tracks.

This week’s lineup is led by Future x Metro Boomin and PARTYNEXTDOOR, who deliver their sophomore joint album WE STILL DON’T TRUST YOU and the single “L o s e M y M i n d,” respectively. Also joining this selection are offerings from Eshu Tune, Lil Nas X, Shaboozey and Larry June, as well as joints from Your Old Droog with Method Man, Denzel Curry and Madlib, Mick Jenkins with TOBi, 1999 WRITE THE FUTURE with Jean Dawson and midwxst with DC The Don.

Future x Metro Boomin - WE STILL DON’T TRUST YOU

Future and Metro Boomin drop their sophomore joint album WE STILL DON’T TRUST YOU just three weeks after its predecessor. The newest record includes a whopping 25 tracks and features guest verses from The Weeknd (with a full verse this time), A$AP Rocky, Lil Baby and, the most surprising of them all, J. Cole.

PARTYNEXTDOOR – “L o s e M y M i n d”

PARTYNEXTDOOR continues to tease his upcoming P4 album with “L o s e M y M i n d,” a sensual offering that samples the late DMX’s “Party Up (Up in Here).”

Your Old Droog x Method Man x Denzel Curry – “DBZ (Prod. by Madlib)”

Your Old Droog joins forces with Method Man and Denzel Curry for his newest single “DBZ,” which features production from Madlib. The stellar cut is a balanced fusion that hears the trio glide over the slick Madlib beat, highlighting their artistic chemistry.

Eshu Tune – “I Lift Weights”

The one and only Hannibal Buress aka Eshu Tune drops a music video for “I Lift Weights.” Helmed by Genki Kawashima and Buress himself, the visual features guest appearances from Ilana Glazer, Kumail Nanjiani, Deon Cole, Mo Amer, Eryn Allen Kane, Comedian CP, Chelsea Peretti and Richard Jefferson, and signals the arrival of his upcoming album which is due to release this year.

Shaboozey – “A Bar Song (Tipsy)”

Rising country star Shaboozey drops his latest single “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” which is set to join his upcoming album Where I’ve Been, isn’t Where I’m Going. “Early 2000s Hip-Hop and R&B were such a huge part of my childhood and I had been wanting to flip one for a while into a country song, so we did it with ‘Tipsy,’” he says. “I love how it turned out because it’s a true blend of genres I love. It’s a song that I wanted people to hear and just wanna have fun and party!”

1999 WRITE THE FUTURE x Jean Dawson – “fIT chECK fREEsTYle”

1999 WRITE THE FUTURE tags Jean Dawson for their collaborative single “fIT chECK fREEsTYle,” which arrives after the music collective’s “WhAT yoU WaNT” with Deb Never and “PUMP IT UP ε=┌(^_^)┘” with Rich Brian and TiaCorine.

Lil Nas X – “Right There”

Lil Nas X preps his Naserati 2 mixtape with the release of “Right There,” exclusively available on Soundcloud. The singer is paying homage to his roots as he prepares to drop the sequel and enlists the production duo of Mark Williams and Raul Cubina, known as Ojivolta.

Mick Jenkins x TOBi – “FORGOT WE WERE SEEDS”

Mick Jenkins and TOBi reunite for the track “FORGOT WE WERE SEEDS,” produced by Dahi and John Hill. This marks the pair’s first reunion since appearing on “Off The Drugs” in 2021.
