The North Face Urban Exploration Crafts a Bike-Friendly “Enride” Collection for City Dwellers
A 26-piece lineup comprised of outerwear, tops, bottoms, accessories and footwear.
This season, The North Face Urban Exploration dedicates the “ENRIDE” collection for cyclers in cities. The capsule touts itself as “tools for urban mobility” with a 26-piece lineup, designed with a focus on providing functional and comfortable equipment for city dwellers who commute on bikes.
The collection comprises technical garments arriving in contemporary and understated appearances, all presented in a color palette of muted neutrals and pops of dark green and purple. The main highlights of “ENRIDE” are its namesake Rain Jacket and Pants, which are designed as a matching set. These pieces feature outer shells crafted from Dyneema, a material that’s known for its durability, chemical stability and incredible lightweightness.
Breathability is also taken into account as the jacket also implements vents in the underarm and elbow areas. As for the pants, the hems are fitted with elastics that can be tightened to reduce the risk of it getting caught on bike chains. In addition, zippers are incorporated on both sides of the trouser legs for quick access during unforeseen weather changes.
The majority of the collection is shoppable via Goldwin’s special webpage for The North Face Urban Exploration, with prices ranging from ¥2,970 – ¥56,650 JPY (around $20 – $385 USD).
