Kiko Kostadinov FW24 Explores the Balance of Dressing
Dancing with delicate and strong elements.

Since its 2018 establishment, Kiko Kostadinov’s womenswear arm has been led by twin sisters Laura and Deanna Fanning. Just like the magic that encompasses Twindom, the two have brought their unique creative vision to the label that has continuously made its womenswear pieces sought after in fashion. With just the right balance of homage to Kostadinov’s foundations and contemporary zeal, the sisters know how to execute without doing too much. So with its new Fall/Winter 2024 collection, the sisters explore the balance of dressing.
At first glance, the collection may look like it’s another showcasing of undaunted color. Although color runs wild throughout the collection in a beautiful way, it’s just a tool of a wider design tactic. The usage of color mixed with the portfolio of shapes, lines and silhouettes embedded in the garments makes a wider stance on balance. The lighthearted ease of a pink and purple corduroy asymmetrical top may be paired with gunmetal-toned pants for a stronger touch. The same goes for paneled tops and technical denim in hues of coffee.
In this collection, it’s all a dance between the delicate and strong elements of garments. The select full all-black looks interspersed throughout the collection serve as obvious nods to clothes armor-like potential alongside being a palate cleanser between style notes.
