The new iOS 17.4 update has arrived for iPhones. Rolling out to iPhone Xs and later editions, the software is available to download in Apple’s Settings.

The most discernible change comes by way of emojis. Developers are continuously building on the rolodex of faces and symbols at users’ fingertips and iOS 17.4 is no different.

118 new emojis have been added, spanning a mushroom, phoenix, lime and broken chain. There’s also a new shaking head face with slashes in the air indicating the up and down movement.

Emojis can also be peeled from the keyboard, resized and then stuck to any conversation in Messages, as well as used on photos as stickers.

As for its other new features, Apple Podcasts offers transcripts for its shows, available in English, French, Spanish and German and Siri will announce messages a user receives in any of Apple’s supported languages.
