London Fashion Week marks the beginning of the European tour of fashion month for the Fall/Winter 2024 season. Shortly after New York Fashion Week, London hits the ground running with a week of shows and presentations that include staple brands like Chet Lo, Burberry, JW Anderson, ERDEM, Holzweiler and more. The week draws the attention of the world, with both British and global showgoers attending the shows in their best dressed. Hypebeast hit the streets of the UK capital to capture some of the best and most interesting street style looks of the week.
Staying true to London eccentricity, fashion week brought dramatic silhouettes and transitional layering to the streets. Frilly dresses akin to tutus and feathered overcoats brought the theatrics to street style while padded coats and trench coats for were practicality. Boxy silhouettes were informed by oversized suiting and fitted leather blazers. Vibrant sweaters and chore coats were major focal points of outfits while all-black outfits stood out in their textures and patterns. Supporting home-grown brands like JW Anderson and Burberry were seen throughout the week.
In accessories, headphones were both for function and style so were sunglasses and beanies. The necktie continues to make its case as the trendiest accessory for both men and women. Leather handbags like the JW Anderson leather cap bag were promising highlights throughout the week.
