Jacquemus To Celebrate 15th Anniversary With Clifftop Capri Runway
Showing at the famed Casa Malaparte villa.

Jacquemus is celebrating its 15th anniversary in Capri this summer.
Simon Porte Jacquemus has revealed that the immersive label is set to unveil its commemorative collection at another architectural marvel, the infamous Italian villa Casa Malaparte – a romantic, contemporary hideaway nestled up in the cliffside that holds significant inspiration to the designer.
Casa Malaparte, now a high-fashion hotspot and motif, was first featured in Jean-Luc Godard’s 1963 film Contempt, the film that inspired Jacquemus to launch the label.
“I decided to create my brand after watching Le Mépris (Contempt) from Jean-Luc Godard, being inspired by the beauty and modernity of his vision,” he wrote in an Instagram caption. “Today I feel honored to be able to present our next show in Casa Malaparte.”

While the romantic villa has seen the likes of a few fashion campaigns and big-name visitors – Karl Lagerfeld took a particular liking to the abode, per WWD – this will be the first time Casa Malaparte hosts a fashion show.
Jacquemus is set to showcase its anniversary collection on the runway on June 10. Stay tuned to Hypebeast for more details as they emerge.
