The 2026 World Cup stadiums have officially been set. FIFA has announced that MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey will be the home of the World Cup Final, set to be held on July 19, 2026.

For the U.S. men’s national team, they begin their World Cup journey in Los Angeles, playing at the SoFi Stadium on June 12. The opening match of the tournament will be hosted in Mexico City, marking the third time Mexico has hosted World Cup matches. Since the 2026 World Cup will be held across the United States, Canada and Mexico, it also marks Canada’s first time hosing World Cup matches, making their debut on June 12 when group play matches begin in Toronto. Games will also be held in Vancouver, Canada.

FIFA announced that the Semifinals will be played on July 14 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas and the following day at the Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta. The Quarterfinals will be held in Foxborough, Massachusetts on July 9 and SoFi Stadium on July 10 and at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, and Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, on July 11. The third-place game will beat Hard Rock on July 18. In a statement by USMNT manager Gregg Berhalter, he said of the World Cup Final in New Jersey, “It’s going to be a special World Cup. To have the final in New York, New Jersey is a dream come true for me. Being from that area, and I’m sure for most people from that area, it’s an area with a rich tradition of soccer and producing players.”
