The classic American furniture brand Modernica has teamed up with graffiti artist Stash to craft a line of furniture complementing the sensibilities of his forthcoming Nike collab. Placing his signature blue color palette at the forefront, the limited edition collection incorporates the furniture manufacturer’s mid-century style into Stash’s creative universe.

The centerpiece of the collaboration is a reinterpretation of Modernica’s Case Study® Furniture Storage Unit, which transforms the piece into a Shoe Bench–a subtle nod to Stash’s duo of Nike kicks set for release tomorrow, December 13. The partners took the project another step further with a co-branded shoe viewing mirror to accompany the reimagined piece. The exuberant blue cushion and accent panels closely mirror the hues used in the sneakers and Stash’s previous works.

Originally designed in 1948 Modernica’s signature fiberglass shell chairs are available covered with Stash’s spray nozzle pattern, inspired by a 2022 mural the artist painted at the Los Angeles Modernica Factory. Offered with and without arms, the chairs’ famous fiberglass texture is visible behind Stash’s navy-hued nozzle motif, which continues onto the backside.

Each piece in the Modernica x Stash collection is limited to only 50 units, making lucky buyers among very the few with the limited Artist Series products in possession. The full furniture line is available now at the official Modernica web store.

Elsewhere, Stash’s Nike Air Force 1 Low and Nike Air Max 95 are set for release on Friday, December 13 via  Stash’s Blue Works Studio website and Nike SNKRS.
