Longines Presents a Limited-Edition Conquest Heritage for the Year of the Snake
Featuring a caseback design by Chinese artist Wu Jian’an.
As the Year of the Wood Snake approaches 2025, Longines has revealed a special-edition Conquest Heritage model in anticipation of the next Lunar New Year.
For this special timepiece, the Longines have partnered with Chinese artist, Wu Jian’an to bring the year’s spirit animal onto the watch’s caseback. The design showcases a mystical snake with a Lingzhi mushroom in its mouth, symbolizing the passage of time and the continuity of life. The inspiration is derived from a famous Chinese tale known as Stealing the Immortal Herb, a segment from the Legend of the White Snake.
On the front, the timepiece stars a gradient red dial that nods to the festivity’s auspicious palette. Adorning the dial are the collection’s signature gilt hands and indexes in a bright yellow-gold tone. Beating inside the 40mm stainless steel case is the Longines L888.5 caliber with a power reserve of up to 72 hours.
Limited to 2,025 pieces, the Conquest Heritage Year of the Snake timepiece has a retail price of $3,150 USD and will soon be available via Longines.
