Daft Punk's Albums and 'Interstellar 5555' Film Get a New Run of Merch From GEEKS RULE
The Leiji Matsumoto animated feature will come back to theaters for one night only on December 12.










As Daft Punk and Leiji Matsumoto’s 2003 anime masterpiece Interstellar 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem hits global theaters again this week, GEEKS RULE has unveiled a limited edition capsule of Daft Punk merchandise.
Three pieces boast special graphics from the film including a vertically oriented “Harder Better Faster Stronger” illustration, an Interstellar 5555 movie poster with Japanese title text, and a large-scale graphic spotlighting the hit song “Something About Us.” Accompanying the film merch are two tees featuring graphics from previous Daft Punk albums including a tan tee boasting the Random Access Memories album cover and another black tee featuring graphics from DISCOVERY.
On December 12 fans will get the rare opportunity to see a one-night screening of the band’s 2003 movie across 800 cinemas in over 40 countries. “We’re excited to bring Daft Punk’s iconic Interstellar 5555, now fully remastered in stunning 4K, to cinemas for this one-night-only global event. This is a rare opportunity to experience the film on the big screen, along with accompanying Daft Punk music videos, and we can’t wait to share it with audiences everywhere,” Marc Allenby, CEO of Trafalgar Releasing, shared in a statement.
The Daft Punk x GEEKS RULE collection will be released on December 15 from the official GEEKS RULE online store.
