New York’s Jae Tips has been on a roll with Saucony, dropping one unique sneaker after another. The two most recently reconnected in September to drop the “To-Do List” collection that featured the ProGrid Omni 9 in two vivid colorways of Tan/Pink and Purple/Pink.
Now, it’s time for the duo to continue their streak of projects by dipping into the Saucony archive to revisit the Matrix silhouette. The throwback runner was last spotted in the year 2000 and is the focal point of the fourth collaboration between Tips and the American sportswear brand. Presented in this burgundy colorway under the new “Savior” theme, the shoe pairs a wool upper with nubuck at the toe and heel overlay. “SAVIOR” text is visible at the lateral heel while additional color inclusions range from forest green to brown and purple.
