RSVP Gallery Celebrates 15 Years With AGOLDE Collaboration
The Don C-curated collection compiles a selection of Chicago-informed styles.
Don C and Virgil Abloh‘s RSVP Gallery concept store has garnered influence far past Chicago’s city lines in its 15 years of operation. In development with directional denim label AGOLDE, RSVP Gallery commemorates its impressive 15-year milestone with a collection inspired by the city streets that raised it.
Drawing inspiration from Chicago’s rich, creative cultural background, the menswear range leans into workwear and athleticwear, offering up rugby tees, varsity jackets, and track suiting as well as vintage-inspired pieces and puffer vests. Workwear jackets in earthy hues arrive alongside a sleek all-black varsity jacket, accented with white cuffing and embroidery.
The duo plays more with color elsewhere in the range, dipping its puffer vest in an all-over maroon hue, and serving the rugby shirts in a slew of bright, striped colorways.
“AGOLDE has breathed new life into RSVP Gallery through this partnership,” said Don C in a statement. “It’s an honor to continue collaborating with Virgil Abloh Securities and to now connect with Theaster Gates, building on the legacy we started in 2009. I’m excited for this new chapter and the many more years of impact and innovation to come.”
