TAG Heuer Unveils Senna-Inspired Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon

TAG Heuer has launched the Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon x Senna, a limited edition timepiece honoring Formula 1 legend Ayrton Senna. Released ahead of Netflix‘s upcoming Senna series, premiering November 29, the watch celebrates Senna’s legacy 30 years after his passing, featuring a design inspired by his relentless drive for speed and precision.

With only 500 pieces available, the 44mm Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon x Senna is crafted from high-grade titanium, giving it a resilient yet elegant finish. A fixed forged carbon bezel inscribed with Senna’s name and a tachymeter scale up to 400 km/h — matching his passion for speed — are among the watch’s standout elements. At 9 o’clock, a yellow-branded “S” logo on the chronograph counter subtly nods to Senna’s emblematic style. The skeleton dial, designed with multiple finishes and a checkered flag motif, reflects his unyielding spirit.

Inside, TAG Heuer’s Calibre TH20-09 powers the timepiece with precision, boasting hours, minutes, seconds, date and tourbillon functions. Notably, the watch offers water resistance up to 100 meters and includes a blue rubber strap for comfort and durability. A sapphire crystal caseback reveals an image of Senna in his iconic helmet, provided by the Senna Brand, underscoring the watch’s exclusive connection to the legend.

In a comment on the watch, TAG Heuer CEO Antoine Pin stated, “With this launch, we celebrate Senna’s spirit and inspire future champions. This timepiece embodies the passion and precision that defined his journey.” Bianca Senna, CEO of Senna Brand, shared that Ayrton would be “deeply honored,” envisioning the watch as a beacon for future generations to pursue greatness.

Priced at 37,000 CHF, the Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon x Senna is set to be available from November 2024, with more information available via TAG’s official site and authorized dealers.
