Christopher Ward Opens New Watch Chapter with the C1 Bel Canto Classic
Now featuring a guilloché dial.
British watchmaker, Christopher Ward is welcoming a new chapter to its 2023 GPHG award-winning C1 Bel Canto model. Now expanding the series with a quartet of four new references, the brand introduces the C1 Bel Canto Classic featuring laser-etched guilloché dials.
Available in four distinct colorways – champagne yellow, green, silver and blue – the updated dial design is complete with high-contrast Roman numerals and a refreshed handset, offering enhanced legibility over its predecessor.
Encased in grade 5 titanium, the watch measures 41mm in case diameter and 48mm lug-to-lug. The glass box sapphire crystal also receives an update, now incorporated with multiple layers of anti-reflective for a subtle visual distortion that vintage timepieces often exude.
On a technical front, the new model continues to carry the chiming function that the C1 Bel Canto is best known for, ringing a charming sound on a D note. This wonderful mechanism, along with the watch’s quintessential time-keeping functions is powered by the FS01 caliber, boasting 38 hours of power reserve and a 3 ATM water resistance.
