NEEDLES and Sasquatchfabrix Unveil Latest Collection Honoring Japanese Heritage
Along with an action packed martial arts-inspired campaign.

NEEDLES and Sasquatchfabrix have reunited for a new FW24 collection that honors the two brands’ Japanese roots. The “Eastend Dragon” collection focuses on a heritage-inspired intertwining dragon motif to represent “kanai,” expressing mutual love.
Sasquatchfabrix’s prowess in unique materials is strongly represented in richly hued velour fabrics engraved with traditional Japanese-style patterns. The fabric is applied to NEEDLES’ signature matching tracksuit sets, offered in navy blue and burgundy red, and finished with contrasting zippers and logos in a bold purple. Matching bucket hats in the same fabric are joined by additional solid-colored hats with embroidered co-branding.
For a more expressive take, black dragon graphics overlap with polka dots on a range of utility shirts with symmetrical cargo pockets on the chest. To round the collection out, distressed crewneck sweatshirts with subtle aural dye patterns come in heather grey, green and washed black. The pullovers boast hand-drawn-style calligraphy and illustrations of interlocking dragons in the shape of a heart.
Pictured inside a traditional Japanese interior, models in the lookbook are captured in martial arts positions. The campaign is accompanied by action-packed videos where the models show off impressive form.
