Bentley Unveils Supriya Lele Designed "Nīla Blue" Bentayga S
Inspired by the fashion designers Indian heritage and created in collaboration with the automotive brand’s Mulliner division.
Bentley and celebrated British designer Supriya Lele have unveiled a new bespoke paint, “Nīla Blue,” in their latest collaborative effort. Available exclusively to Mulliner clients, Nīla Blue takes its name from the Sanskrit word for “sapphire,” reflecting Lele’s Indian heritage and her deeply personal connection to the color blue — a theme frequently explored in her fashion collections.
This one-of-a-kind hue, crafted in Bentley’s Mulliner Bespoke Studio, aims to represent a seamless fusion of high fashion and automotive luxury, emphasizing craftsmanship and individual expression. The showcase for Nīla Blue is a specially designed Bentayga S, where the exclusive color is featured at the exterior, including pinstriped 22” sports wheels and Mulliner White accents on the carbon fiber body kit. Inside, the luxurious blue tone continues with custom detailing, from the satin black Naim audio speaker grilles to the open-pore, black-stained walnut veneers, bordered in Nīla Blue.
Lele’s design perspective, rooted in subtlety and cultural symbolism, mirrors Bentley Mulliner’s dedication to bespoke artistry, with David Parker, Bentley’s Chief Commercial Officer at Mulliner, noting that Nīla Blue captures “both Supriya’s artistic vision and Mulliner’s expertise in crafting the finest bespoke finishes.” This unique color is available now exclusively via Bentley’s Mulliner Bespoke Studio.
