Louis Vuitton Names Saoirse Ronan as New House Ambassador
The four-time Oscar nominated actress joins the likes of Zendaya, Sophie Turner and BTS’ J-Hope.
Four-time Oscar-nominated actress Saoirse Ronan has been announced as Louis Vuitton‘s newest house ambassador.
The French house confirmed on their Instagram account that Ronan joins a coveted list of ambassadors that include the likes of Sophie Turner, Zendaya, HoYeon Jung and BTS‘s J-Hope. The 29-year-old is welcomed by creative director Nicolas Ghesquiere who praises the actress, “I have admired Saoirse’s career for many years now, I find her totally captivating in the roles she plays.” The statement continues, “Behind her talent lies such a charming and bright person.” In a series of posts on Instagram, the house announces that Ronan for Louis Vuitton will see her embark “on a new collaborative adventure with @NicolasGhesquiere as the latest Louis Vuitton House Ambassador.”
Ronan has had major roles in critically acclaimed films like Lady Bird, Little Women, Brooklyn and Antonement. She is starring in The Outrun, which premiered at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival and is set to star in Steve McQueen’s new World War II drama, Blitz. expected to release later this year.
