London-based designer Kiko Kostadinov is breaking boundaries left and right, cementing his futuristic athletic identity worldwide. His namesake label has taken over the footwear scene with recognizable ASICS collaborations and in-house offerings. Kostadinov’s Tonkin silhouette has become his trademark, released in low-top and boot formations throughout 2023.

Kiko Kostadinov’s Tonkin Shoe gets strapped up for Fall/Winter 2023, arriving in “Charcoal” and “Slate Grey” colorways. The colossal model stomps away in pure Bovine leather, consuming the chunky model’s upper portion. The laceless design features oversized straps that secure your foot into place, while mesh tongues and liners insert textural contrast.

The brand’s Tonkin Strap Shoe is rounded out with jumbo-sized rubber sole units, boasting layered wavy outlines and oval-shaped traction grips extending into the medials.

Take a closer look at Kiko Kostadinov’s FW23 Tonkin Strap Shoe in the gallery above. The silhouette is available to shop now via select retailers, including Dover Street Market, for $735 USD.

In other news, YOSSI HOMME’s debut capsule oozes with disruptive NYC attitude.
