Update: We’re just under two months out from the launch of the A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 5 “Diffused Blue,” however, Nike has gone ahead and shared its official preview of the kicks. Release remains expected to go down on November 22 via A Ma Maniére, Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a price of $225 USD in women’s sizing.
Update: Following a brief teaser last week, a better breakdown of the A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 5 in “Diffused Blue” has now surfaced. Key elements such as the tongue’s co-branding and heel embroidery have been showcased while release for the pair remains expected for a November 22 launch via A Ma Maniére, Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a price of $225 USD in women’s sizing. Original Story: Throughout recent years, A Ma Maniére has participated in many high-profile Jordan Brand releases. From the Air Jordan 1 to the 12, the Atlanta-based retailer continues to make noise. For the latter portion of 2023, the duo is looking to the Air Jordan 5.
Previously, a “Black” colorway of the AJ5 captured the attention of sneakerheads with a new “Diffused Blue” look now appearing. In the brief preview, the sneaker leans on leather to construct its primarily-white build with “Photon Dust” and “Diffused Blue” colliding at the sneaker’s signature elements — its 23 and Nike Air branding, spiked midsole and more. Adding to the sneaker, co-branding arrives via the tongue while yellowed detailing at the midfoot window, tongue and translucent outsole adds to the look.
At the time of writing, neither A Ma Maniére nor Jordan Brand have disclosed details regarding their collaborative takes on the Air Jordan 5. However, early intel is pointing to a release date of November 22 for both colorways, landing on shelves via A Ma Maniére, Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a price of $225 USD in women’s sizing.
