Here’s What Went Down at Steinlager and Huffer’s Winter Capsule Launch Event
The epic launch party celebrated two of New Zealand’s finest coming together.
On a rainy Thursday evening in Auckland, Hypebeast arrived at the launch party for Steinlager and Huffer‘s winter capsule launch. The two stalwart New Zealand brands took over the Huffer House, in Auckland’s Britomart to celebrate their iconic collaboration.
Stepping into the event, guests were greeted with a down-to-earth atmosphere, great food, and smooth beats. With a limited edition Steinlager can in every hand, the venue buzzed with anticipation as the 5-piece winter capsule collection was unveiled around the space – a statement range showing off the fusion of Steinlager’s rich heritage and Huffer’s signature style.
Despite the June chill, inside the event was all about relaxed warmth and fuss-free good times. To top it all off, the crowd was treated to guest performances by INF from the New Zealand hip-hop collective, Swidt; electronic DJ and producer duo, Bavhu; and local favorite DJ, Teto – who had the entire space transformed into a dance floor.
Before the event, Hypebeast spoke to Huffer about the vision for the limited edition capsule, and the significance of a night dedicated to honoring it. “We are stoked to give an exclusive preview of the Steinlager x Huffer winter collection. The event, and the entire collaboration, is a celebration of two New Zealand brands coming together and paying homage to this great culture we’re all proud to be part of.”
