New Balance 550 Receives "Blue Suede" and "Grey Suede" Editions

New Balance‘s classic low-top basketball silhouette is arriving in a suede pack for the upcoming season. The new lineup for the popular 550 model sees the renowned Boston-based brand’s shoe dressed in “Blue Suede” and “Grey Suede.”
The “Blue Suede” edition is crafted in a mixture of premium materials including hairy suede and mesh construction. The beloved basketball shoe comes dressed in a baby blue colorway that dresses the shoe throughout its upper, highlighting the mesh panels, suede overlays and laces. The branding is also highlighted in the same color, matching the branding on the tongue. The shoe sits atop a white midsole and a cream-colored outsole. As for the “Grey Suede” colorway, upper features a monochromatic sleek, all-grey upper with the same breathable mesh and hairy suede materials. This pair also sits atop a white midsole and cream outsole.
The New Balance 550 “Blue Suede” and “Grey Suede” shoes are releasing in select retailers and on New Balance for $120 USD in the coming months.
