'Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Freedom' Movie Receives Teaser Trailer

Picking up where ‘Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny’ left off.

Shortly after officially being confirmed, the upcoming Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Freedom movie has now received a teaser trailer. Accompanied by a visual, the early promotional materials are centered around protagonist Kira Yamato and Lacus Clyne, fan-favorite characters from the original Mobile Suit Gundam Seed series.

Part of the 20-year anniversary of the original anime, the upcoming film will pick up where Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny left off and serve as a direct sequel to the title. Sunrise (Bandai Namco Filmworks) will be animating the film under the direction of Mitsuo Fukuda who worked on both Mobile Suit Gundam Seed and Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny. Fukada co-wrote the script with his late wife Chiaki Morosawa and Liu Goto, while Hisashi Hirai handled character designs.
