Popular Japan-based streetwear brand BEAMS, known for its quality minimal takes has teamed up with Casio-owned G-Shock for a collaborative take on the G-B001, a model based on the 1994 DW-001.

This latest watch from BEAMS and G-Shock features a removable matte black shell that reveals a translucent case underneath. With the case shell attached, the case features a more rounded design and smooth lines — whereas without it, the watch gives off a more traditional G-Shock look.

The BEAMS x G-Shock G-B001, which marks the two brands’ 18th collaboration, is available for pre-order on BEAMS’ official site and is priced at ¥19,800 yen or approximately $140 USD. Delivery of the watch is expected in August.
