Coming off his first podium win of MXGP’s world championships, motocross racer Mattia Guadagnini takes to the design workshop with fine jewelry brand ZANCAN. The pair join forces to visualize a special collection of rings, bracelets and necklaces.

Titled “MG101,” the new range playfully draws inspiration from the rider’s life on the dirt tracks. From polished silver metals that mimic motorbike mechanics to vibrant red and blue stones indicating the Red Bull team colors, the references are fused together to create pieces that can be paired, layered or even worn singularly.

Delivering jewelry that racers can adorn on the tracks, ZANCAN and Guadagnini keep simplicity at the forefront of the designs. Necklaces take on a classic, thick chained form with the exception of only crucifix pendants coming bejeweled with gems. On rings, rows of natural stones are securely framed in silver edges while bracelets combine these features with chunky silver links interspersed with gems.

As the two Italian forces unite, a celebration of their shared heritage comes to life within more contemporary-led pieces. Split chained bracelets and rings, boasting an alternative look, represent the colliding themes of luxury and streetwear prominent in the country’s contemporary culture as well as its rising generation of young racers.

Take a closer look at the full range in the gallery above. To shop the “MG101” collection, head to the brand’s website and Italy-based boutiques now.
