Following its reunion with Vans with the release of the Palace Vans Low, Palace has now returned to reveal its first collaboration with World Wrestling Entertainment. The uniquely British streetwear imprint has now teamed up with the leader in global sports entertainment for its final drop of the summer 2023 season: a capsule collection celebrating legendary WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley.

Foley began his wrestling career in 1983, wrestling under various gimmicks and names in independent wrestling promotions. Gaining national recognition as his Cactus Jack character, Foley was recognized as a hardcore wrestler with a wild and unpredictable personality. The now-retired professional wrestler brought his fearless and sometimes dangerous style of wrestling to the WWE in 1996, playing Mankind, a sadistic masked character that wielded a sock puppet weapon named Mr. Socko.

Foley’s run in the WWE saw him win numerous championships and put on unforgettable matches as Mick Foley, Mankind, and another fun-loving character, named Dude Love. Officially retiring from professional wrestling in 2012, Foley has now become an accomplished writer but will be forever remembered as a wrestler that could portray multiple distinct characters and put his body on the line for the sake of entertainment.

The WWE x Palace Capsule Summer 2023 is comprised of hoodies, crew neck sweatshirts, and T-shirts emblazoned with iconic motifs and imagery drawn from the career of Mick Foley. Leading the special range is the Dude Love-inspired “Palace Love” Hoodie and “Have a Nice Day” Hoodie marked with Mankind’s signature catchphrase, along with a crewneck honoring Mick Foley’s “Hardcore Legend” nickname. Aside from the accompanying T-shirts, Palace has also put together a special release inspired by T-shirt catalogs from ’80s WWE Magazines featuring Palace friends and family.

The WWE x Palace capsule collection will be available alongside the Summer 2023 Week 9 Drop releasing both in-store and online June 30, 11 a.m. EDT on the brand’s official webstore, and in Japan on July 1, 11 a.m. JST on the Palace Japan webstore, and on the official “Palace_Skateboards” WeChat store July 1, 11 a.m. CST.
