After teasing several images of its experimental 1970 C111, Mercedes-Benz has officially unveiled its new Vision One-Eleven, a futuristic reimagination of the ’70s icon.

Looking like something straight out of a sci-fi film, the conceptual Vision One-Eleven EV features the original model’s flush-fitted gullwing doors with pixel board touches used for the exterior light panels. While appearing in a much curvier one-bow build, many other details carry over from the original including the orange and black color scheme, twin hood vents in black, and circular taillights. Stepping inside, we are introduced to the first first lounge interior for a sports car, featuring modern touches contrasted with a wide flat pixel display that echoes the design of the exterior light strips.

Head over to the Mercedes-Benz website for more details.
