Coi Leray Returns With Her Sophomore Album ‘COI’
Following up last year’s ‘Trendsetter.’
Coi Leray’s debut album, Trendsetter, may have just dropped last year but the rapper has already returned with another full-length project. While her first LP didn’t quite hit with a commercial audience, despite landing with some critics, Leray is ready to prove herself once again on the new COI.
COI comes with an interesting roster of collaborators. The rapper links with French producer David Guetta, along with Saucy Santana and the British rapper Giggs. She also teams up with James Brown, Skillibeng and another quickly rising rap powerhouse, Lola Brooke.
The new LP follows Leray’s appearance on Metro Boomin’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse soundtrack. She teased COI with the promising singles “Bops” and “My Body.”
“I have so many hits on my hands now,” Leray told XXL in a May interview. “They heard “Players.” I can’t wait ’til they hear what the album is.”
