Printworks London nears the end of its historic six-year run following its final performances this past weekend featuring the likes of dance music titans Black Coffee, CamelPhat, Sub Focus, and Peggy Gou. Following the Brew//LDN event on May 5 and 6, the nightclub/events venue will be officially closed for good on May 7.

“To mark the end of the space as we know it, the final Printworks Closing Weekend shows represent our history — joining the dots from techno to melodic house, and disco to bass for our final weekend,” read a statement from the venue.

The space first opened in January 2017, breathing new life into a former printing facility for the Metro and Evening Standard. With a capacity of 6,000, the Press Halls have hosted over 3,000 artists, showcasing the very best local and international talent. Last September, it was confirmed that the Printworks, which was never intended to be used as a permanent site, would be closing as part of a larger redevelopment project in Surrey Quays. Despite a petition which gathered over 11,000 signatories, the venue is set to be turned into an office space. Broadwick Live, the team behind the beloved nightclub, will continue to operate Dockywards and The Beams venues in London.

The last performance at the venue came from DJ duo Bicep as seen below.
