GloRilla Samples Three 6 Mafia on New Single “Lick or Sum”
The Memphis rapper pays homage to one of her city’s fellow rap acts.
GloRilla is paying homage to one of the most legendary rap groups to come out of Memphis, Three 6 Mafia. The rapper has released a new song called “Lick or Sum” that samples the Juicy J solo “Slob On My Knob.”
“Slob On My Knob” was released via the Three 6 Mafia offshoot project, Tear Da Club Up Thugz, made up of DJ Paul, Juicy J and Lord Infamous. The single appeared on the trio’s sole studio album, 1999’s CrazyNDaLazDayz.
GloRilla’s NSFW single arrived alongside an official music video directed by Chris Villa that sees the rapper with friends turning up in her home city, from the parking lot to the aisle of the grocery store.
