MINI Presents New Digital Assistant, Spike
An intelligent English Bulldog.
MINI has presented its new intelligent personal assistant at the Auto Shanghai International Trade Fair titled, Spike. Inspired by the English Bulldog, he provides various forms of support to drivers. Appearing for the first time in the cockpit of the 5-Door MINI Concept Aceman, Spike serves as an active protagonist in the cockpit as he’s seen prancing around the circular OLED central display and dashboard.
Spike has been around since the modern MINI debuted in 2001, and he’s come a long way since then. More than just design experiment, he’s becoming a reliable companion which significantly elevates the user experience, strengthening the emotional connection between human and automobile. Whether helping out behind the scenes or taking center stage, Spike, like a real companion, delivers unexpected experiences and exciting encounters.
