Tyler, The Creator To Drop ‘CMIGYL: The Estate Sale’ Bonus Tracks, Shares New “Dogtooth” Single and Music Video
A collection of songs that didn’t make the cut for the original album.
When Tyler, The Creator put out CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST in June 2021, the album clocked in at 16 songs across 53 minutes. Like most of the rapper’s projects, CMIGYL was a hit among fans, not only for its upbeat songs but also its pastel, European aesthetic and the eclectic Tyler Baudelaire persona he cultivated.
Nearly two years later, Tyler will be sharing “a collection of songs that didn’t make the original album.” He announced the news of the forthcoming drop today, entitled CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST: The Estate Sale, along with a painted album cover of Baudelaire carrying suitcases.
Fans won’t have to wait long for the release, with The Estate Sale rolling out this Friday, March 31. In tandem with the announcement, Tyler premiered a self-directed music video for the first single from the collection, “DOGTOOTH.”
“Sometimes, you just wanna restart (Call on me),” he raps in the intro. “Looking for ways to get rid of some things (When you get lost) / Whether it takes all day or all night (You say).”
The video sees the rapper resume his California-boy, wearing a Golf le FLEUR* baseball cap and t-shirt. Between dropping bars, he dances from the top of a lighthouse and rips donuts in a vintage white car.
